shame on me!
I wish I could say I've been too busy etc, but the truth is, I've just been too pre-occupied with other things. Mostly stressing.
Yes, I know.
I suck.
I am 31 weeks pregnant and my to do list looks a little something like this:
Ok, my head is beginning to spin.
On top of all of that, in the past week, these are the things that have broken in our flat:
Yes, it's been an expensive week so far.
BUT, it's not all bad. My mom came to visit for a week, and now my dad arrives too in a couple of days.
And my friends threw me the most awesome baby shower - we were very spoilt. I will upload some pics once I get them.
Also, I saw the consultant last week and he's happy with my blood sugar up till this point - long may it last.
Growth scan on Friday.

- Choose name (oh my nerves)
- To buy:
- Cot, plus mattress and bedding
- Pram
- Car seat
- Bottles & teats
- Muslins
- Change table
- Towels
- Bathtub
- Baby carrier
- Bouncer
- Pack hospital bag
- Wash and sort baby clothes
Ok, my head is beginning to spin.

- Boiler
- Curtains
- TV
- Telephone
- Window leak

Hey there! look at you girl! You look GREAT! Glad you had a good shower. My birthday was Sunday and we headed to the city to buy some stuff and register. We scored a mattress, pack n play, and stroller carseat combo. Last week I got the bedding Pirates Cove from Cotton Tales. Still gotta buy crib, dresser, and night stand. Then we are DONE till after our shower the last week of January. Good luck with choosing a name it is SO hard we are leaning towards Elliot Bane but who knows this early.
ReplyDeleteI have just found your blog tonight and have sat here and read the whole thing in the last 2 hours!!! I just wanted to say you are not alone in sressing in your pregnancy or all those "silly" fears you had when ttc/early pregnancy/now!! It took me and my husband 22 months to conceive our daughter who is now 2.5 years old. We are now ttc our second and currently coming up to the year mark. It's hard going but as I'm sure you are feeling now it's all worth it. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy - oh and that shopping list never gets smaller the items just get replaced!!! xxx
