THE STORY SO FAR

2001-2002: Increasingly painful and irregular periods
2003: Diagnostic laparoscopy: STAGE 2 ENDOMETRIOSIS
2004: Routine scan: POLYCYSTIC OVARIES
2006: Laparoscopy no.2. Tubes clear, right ovary stuck down due to adhesions, laser ablation of recurrent endo
October 2008: Stop Birth Control Pills
July 2009: Get married to the love of my life. Begin TTC immediately.
December 2009: Laparoscopy no. 3. Minimal endo regrowth. Tubes clear, old adhesions, right ovary stuck down again, skew uterus. All corrected, prognosis GOOD!
January 2010: Shock discovery. MALE FACTOR. Oligozoospermia. 18 million count, 60% motility, 8% morphology. IVF with ICSI recommended.
January 2010: Begin homeopathic treatment. Awaiting appointment with Fertility Specialist.
March 2010: Repeat SA results: 3 million, 50% motility, 17% morphology. IVF/ICSI the only way to go.
April 2010: Begin IVF/ICSI - please, please let this work...
3 May 2010: BFP!!!!!!! Thank you G-d!!!!! Beta 158
5 May 2010: Beta 308
10 May 2010: 1st scan (5w) - 1 beautiful sac!
21 May 2010: 2nd scan (6w4d) - Heartbeat: 126bpm, 6.2mm! Perfect!!
2 June 2010: 3rd scan (8w1d) - Heartbeat, 14.5mm! Perfect!!
12 June 2010: 4th scan (9w5d) - Heartbeat: 178bpm, 29.8mm. Baby moving around and kicking!!
23 June 2010: 11w2d scan. Heartbeat: 168bpm, 47mm, NT: 1.5mm!! Downs risk 1:8800. All great!
18 August 2010: 19w2d anomaly scan. BPD: 44.1mm, HC: 163.9mm, AC: 132.3mm, FL: 29.4mm. Team YELLOW by choice!
8 October 2010: 4D Scan, goodbye team yellow, hello team PINK!!!
18 October 2010: Growth scan. BPD: 72mm, HC: 259mm, AC: 230mm, FL: 54mm
4 January 2011: Induction due to Gestational Diabetes
5 January 2011: Beautiful baby girl born 14.28, weighing 2.702kg (5.95 pounds) with the help of episiotomy and ventouse. The happiest day of our lives.
