Domestic Goddess

Because I am such a domestic goddess - ahem - I shamefully have to admit I wanted to make hard boiled eggs this morning, but had no idea how long to boil them for. It's ok, I thought, no shame in it, I will just G.oogle it! (I swear, I don't know how I ever lived without it!)

(In)fertility wins the day AGAIN!

I hadn't even finished typing my second word and I got this:

First bloody suggestion relates to TTC! It just cracked me up, but I will admit, I was very relieved to see 'how long to boil an egg' as second on the list - I am not alone!!

Maybe G.oogle suggestions were reading my mind this morning? Well, except I really don't care how long the great wall of China is, or how long it takes to get to the moon. The 'how long does sperm live' I totally get.

Thirty

Today is my birthday. I feel pretty non-excited and I usually love birthdays. But lately, the older I get the more 'blue' I feel around my birthday. Is it just me who feels that why? It's really stupid - like my dad always jokes - better to  have a birthday than not (morbid but true!)

Anyway, today I am pushing those thoughts aside. I am so, so blessed! I cannot even count all my blessings on one hand - that's a lot!

And, like some cosmic joke, just to bring me back down to earth, I woke up with a huge pimple right between my eyes! Pimples and wrinkles?! Fabulous! I am totally rocking that look ;)
