I just wanted to thank you girls so much for your responses to my last post. I have read each of them many, many times, and am so grateful for your kind words.
After reeling from the news for a few days, we decided to get away, and booked a lovely guest house about an hour and half away from Cape Town. We swam, and ate, relaxed and went to the beach.
I feel ok, if a little numb.
But mostly I am confused.
If they like to see (as the FS said) 20 mil count, 50% mot, 7% morph, and we got 18, 60, and 8, then why is this classed as Male Factor Infertility? I mean, I realise the count is lower than normal, but not awful? Am I in complete denial here?
Also, he didn't say anything else. Like, is there anything we can do to fix this? Should we do a repeat SA? Would it help if I was on Clomid? How bad is this really?
I have googled and googled and googled and I just cannot find the info I need.
I do plan to call him to discuss, and ask all those questions I was just too shocked to ask on the original phone call. Is there anything else I should be asking?
In the meantime, we went to a homeopath who put hubby on special vitamins and zinc. He has been on these for a week now, and he is so dedicated it breaks my heart a little. He thinks we can fix this. I just hope he's right.

The day my world fell apart
I am broken. Well, more specifically, my husband is.
We got the results of his semen analysis back today.
Count: 18 million (normal is 20 and up - so this is low)
Motility: 60 percent (normal is 40 and up - so this is fine)
Morphology: 8 percent (normal is 7 and up according to the doc, so this is also fine)
He said we have male factor infertility and he recommends IVF with ICSI.
I have been holding back tears all day, I can't show my husband how serious this is. He is acting like it's all fine, we can fix it. I don't know what to do.
I have all my family around me here and I can tell no-one. And I am devastated.
HOW can this happen to us? Endometriosis, PCOS and now male factor infertility as well.
I feel we have failed before we have even begun.
I can't type for too long - I don't want to be caught, but I am utterly broken today.
