Two 'perfect' embryos on board

Had the transfer this morning, it was an absolute breeze. I think I have the best doctor in the world. He was so pleased with our embies. We transferred 2, and have 3 on ice.

I really didn't expect to, but the tears streamed down my face - what an emotional experience.

Blood test is on Monday 3rd. Dr. said it's his mom's birthday - a good sign as far as he's concerned :)

As soon as I get internet access again, I will upload the photos, like the proud mommy I already am.

Stay with me and snuggle in nicely my tiny babies. We want you so very much.

Embryo update

Got a call from the clinic this morning. Turns out we have a late bloomer - we now have 9 fertilised embryos! Apparently, 7 of those 9 are doing well, right on track at around 8 cells each.

I don't have internet access at the moment (hence the update from my phone) so I cannot obsessively G.oogle whether 8 cells is good? Please, please leave me some comments to let me know average cell stages for day 3 embryos! I will be forever indebted!

Transfer is on Saturday at 11am. Excited and scared.

My nerves are shot...

Got the call from the lab this morning.

Of the 14 eggs, eight are showing good signs of fertilisation.
They won't look at them again till Thursday (ohmyshatterednerves!), and they are hoping for transfer on Saturday. This is definitely the most nervous I've been so far, and I suspect it will get worse!

Eight is good right? Eight is great. Thank you g-d!
And now I pray...

Thanks so much for all your words of encouragement, what would I do without you all to keep me going!?
I'm not able to use my own laptop (capped internet - gah!) so sorry I have been a bit behind on reading and commenting - promise to catch up soon!

Wow, nobody told me how sore ER is! Bloody hell!
Cramps and bleeding and nausea....

BUT

we have 14 eggs! 14!!

Sheer relief! Now for the next hurdle...fertilisation!
Please all pray for my little embryos!
